A Day in Oklahoma

Living in a boarder town has it's perks. The other day I took a quick drive north to see a friend and found myself in Oklahoma within 15 minutes. Melissa and I made plans to take walk in the park and than get some lunch after. Both were activities Zoe could attend so she came along.
While driving to lunch we saw this neighborhood with big beautiful homes- naturally we had to check it out.
This was the "pond" that the houses circled.
Surprisingly, the houses on the outskirts of the pond were only $150,000-$250,000. If I wanted to live in a Lawton Oklahoma, i'd live here!
After we took a trip to the bookstore, Zoe and I headed back to Texas. We couldn't get enough of the perfect fall weather, so we stopped by this park on our way home.

 She liked the sketchy bridge...
 What a perfect Wednesday!
