David's Zoe or Zoe's David?

You've probably all heard it before but female dogs prefer the man of the house and usually male dogs prefer the woman.
Zoe is no exception to this rule.

David is her "person" and disappointing him absolutely breaks her heart. When I catch her digging her she puts her ears down and runs away. When David catches her digging she rolls over, cries, and tries to "make-up" with kisses and cuteness.
When David comes home the whole world stops and she does every trick in the book to get his attention. She even whines and growls when I get the first kiss. Everyday around six o-clock every car door slam causes her ears to perk and a bolt to the door waiting for him to come inside. He doesn't get home till nine so this happens a few times a day.

Sitting on his lap in the backseat of the truck.
Loving on her                                                                     Talking to her

She is one happy girl getting all this attention from her boy.

They're bond is very sweet and I love how much she adores him even though he has been gone all day or sometimes all month.
Our next dog might have to be a boy or might be jealousy issues.
