Our son is here and we are on cloud nine
Everyday since his birth I spend countless hours just looking at his sweet face, kissing his chubby cheeks, and praising God for a job well done. Our son is perfect in every way and we are so very thankful he is finally here.
About Me:
~I'm doing well. I'm healing slowly but surely and have been intentionally taking it slow this past week. My goal is to be ready and able to make the cross-country move in two weeks; so i'm resting lots and eating well.
About Isaac:
~He is a happy boy and is perfectly content to sit and watch us.
~He recognizes David and I's voice and will stare at us with wide eyes while we talk. He smiles without knowing it (mostly in his sleep) but squirms and kicks when he's excited. I think he'll be smiling on command very soon.
~Isaac loves to eat and sleep which makes nursing and us getting enough sleep possible.
~Our little guys has already passed his original birth weight and is well on his way to being a chubby baby.
I'll be posting Isaac's birth story here. Thank you to all who prayed for us during a very long and exhausting few days of labor. It's by God's grace that Isaac and I had a successful delivery.
