F-15E Graduation

Congratulations to this guy on graduating from the F-15E B- Course.
He knows how to fly this:
It was a wonderful night, one that I didn't anticipate being able to attend (being that I was due the day before). Apparently, our baby wanted us to enjoy this celebration together as possibly our last hurrah before we're parents.
Here's how the night went:

David was then awarded the "Warrior Pilot" award. The Warrior Pilot award is given to one pilot and one WSO whom the instructors all agree if they went to war tonight, they'd want them specifically on their wing. It's quite an honor to be designated as the pilot the instructors all want with them in the heat of battle- it says a lot about David's character, ability, and courage. Lt. Col. Pardo, a famous Vietnam Vet, F-4 Pilot, and part of the original River Rats awarded David this honor.

 I'm one proud wife!

After the ceremonies, we headed to the bar where the guys played crud and heard more stories from Lt. Col. Pardo
Spouse "Thank You" rose.
 My girls!

Just for fun: Here are some pictures from earlier in the day.
Isn't he the best?!

What wonderful friends we have made here! We'll miss these two for sure!
