Crazy Little Life

We have all heard that the Air Force loves it's "hurry up... and wait" motto. It's true for us this season. Once David graduated we've been relaxing most days with not a whole lot going on-only irrupted by several sporadic training's David has had to leave for.

Most of his class has graduated and moved on to bigger and better things, we're still waiting for our turn. With no longer having out friend network here, we're itching to be gone.

Our days are mostly uneventful and basically consist of:
Crafting, fun reading, grocery shopping, play with Zoe, working out, and checking David's email for news on when we'll be out of here. This is the calm before the storm as we're under the impression that once we get dates and confirmation of how this move will work- we'll have to hit the ground running. We report to Wichita Falls, Texas September 6th, just 5 weeks away, and have been unable to do anything in preparation for that move next month.

At this point in time, everything we can do to prepare for a move is contingent on who's leaving (am I tagging along or staying here with the dog while he trains), how we're moving (DIY or with movers), and getting orders. The "who" and "how" is wrapped up on those orders as that will make those decisions final and let us know what our options are. The only thing we know is "when" which causes slight panic on my part.

I'm very excited for the next step in David's career and we've kinda put things on hold here until we know what this move will entail. I've paused school util September and moved my graduation to the Spring. I'll actually be 3 hours away from my college by the time I graduate since we'll be a NC by January... maybe i'll even WALK!

Stay tuned for info! Family can click here and read the update in more detail.
