Thunderstorm Season

Most of our rain here is Texas comes from thunderstorm season (Feb &March). This year the season has come late and the storms are huge. This is a short video from the one last night. (At this point int he storm there was about 1-2 sec between lightning and thunder)

The best part was that over the loud speaker on base, they sounded a tornado alarm. Being born and raised in Oregon I have no idea what to do when they say "seek shelter immediately". Luckily, David was my voice of reason in my brief time of panic. He wasn't nervous so I followed his ques. Nothing happened but they were expecting damaging winds up to 50mph.

I love storm season but I could do without the Tornado warning and watch.
