About Isaac:
Our sweet boy has such a bold personality. He is full of joy and smiles hourly but lets us know when he's frustrated. He loves to talk at his toys and enjoys his swing. We have started sitting him in his high chair while we eat dinner and he mimics our chewing the entire time. Isaac has started the teething process and chews/drools on everything. He is very observant and watches Zoe whenever she's near him. Her tail fascinates him the most and he reaches out for it each chance he gets. Issac is growing fast! Sadly, my baby no longer fits into his 3 month clothes and is wearing 6 and even 9 months outfits now. He had his 4 month well-baby check-up today and he's weighing in at 16.1 pounds (68th percentile) and is a little over 26 inches long (85th percentile). Isaac laughed for the first time at 14weeks and now cackles at us when we tickle him. The other notable mile stone accomplished this month is rolling over. He rolled front to back at 15 weeks and then at 17 weeks he did back to front. He doesn't roll regularly but when motivated he will.
About this Month:
This month covered weeks 14-17 which means lots of growing and developmental mile-stones (as mentioned above). Isaac moved into his first home (since he was three weeks old) at the beginning of his 4th month and it has changed our lives, in a good way. Who would have thought it would be so much easier to take care of a baby when not living in a hotel room?! His nursery is almost finished but is fully functional and I love having a chair to rock him in. This month Grandma Mich visited for a weekend and babysat while David and I had a lovely Valentine's date (our first since he's been born). Isaac has attended many outings and squadron events and is quickly becoming popular among the ladies. Our social butterfly will completely skip feedings and naps during social events, my guess is he doesn't want to miss anything.
Fun fact: Isaac resembles his uncle Samuel:
