Last night I had a close encounter with a pair of skunks hanging out on my patio. A few nights before then there was one the size of a large cat rooting around in our backyard. If skunks don't keep us inside on warm summer nights than the porcupines will.
They are both slightly cute but mostly annoying in their effect.
On a brighter note David and I celebrated Labor Day with a nice long weekend home. We had a BBQ, went to a BBQ, played Rock Band until late hours, and made some awesome shelves (pictured below). David also fixed his motorcycle and gave me drumming lessons (on real drums, not Rock Band!) and I finished homework and did some baking. It was an all around pleasant weekend.

How fun is this going to be to decorate when I have free time??
The ONLY way this was possible was because my wonderful husband knows how to build what I invision. There would be many many many more holes in this wall and probably would not look half this good if he wasn't here to help me.
