I love Road Trips!!!!
Driving 15 hours to Vegas, 5 more down to Arizona , and 21 back to Corvallis isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. Honestly when you have things to do in the car, your best friend to laugh with, and all kinds of people around you to make fun of- the hours go by fast! Las Vegas was a blast and I took a ton of pictures. We did the touristy thing and walked around for miles everyday sightseeing as you'll see below. In the evenings we met up with some of our friends who were there and we’d all go out to dinner and enjoy the night life. We gambled on the penny slots which I won 18 dollars my first time but lost it all the second day. We didn't gamble much and unfortunately we left when we were 5 bucks in the hole. Las Vegas was amazing, the food was great, and the hotels/casinos were beautiful. I wish the sun would have come out a few more times but it wasn't that big of a issue since we're used to the clouds and I knew I’d get my sun in Arizona.
Part one of our trip was so blessed every single thing went perfectly. In Proverbs 16 it says "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" and we did through prayer each time we drove to our next destination. On Monday night David left his wallet on a slot at the MGM and we didn't notice until we were across the street at the New York , New York 30 minutes later. We were both praying silently as we ran back to the casino that it hadn't been stolen and that we wouldn't have to spend the rest of the night cancelling all our credit cards and replacing all his ID cards. I went to security while he went to look at the slots we were playing last and praise God some saint turned it in to the lost and found with both of his dollars still in it. Needless to say it was an eventful last night.
